The bed is years old - we got it second hand - and is currently in five parts (Head end, feet end, two sides, which are held together by wooden dowels and metal fixings; and a taped, wooden, slatted mattress support which lays atop the two sides and is held in place by some non-original screws). All the bits are there. It is easy to fit together with you own flat screwdriver and 5mm hex key for the frame and your Phillips screwdriver to attatch the ends of the slatted support.
