Our son is aiming to represent Great Britain in kayaking next year and his winter training involves lots of gym work to build strength while paddling is restricted by weather and limited daylight. Getting time at the gym at his club was difficult before CV19 and even more so now. He is aiming at weights of up to 80kg by spring and ideally he'd have a proper bench for bench pulls, his key exercise. Its a game called hex (or polygon), for two players. The pieces are drafts (several sets combined). The board is hardboard with sticky backed plastic, cut so as to create the board (sized to work with the draft pieces). So definitely home made, and old! But its a great game!
